    Many of us are familiar with hymns such as “And Can it Be?” and “O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing,” written by Charles Wesley. These and thousands more came after Wesley’s conversion in 1738. Just as bifocal lenses allow us to see the “far away” and the “up close”, so must we see things spiritually and humanly at the same time.
