Yes, girls and gays, we’re getting investigative. This week’s syllabus includes cold cases, serial murderers, and the ever-growing cultural obsession with true crime. They dig into the ethics of it all: Who gets centred in these stories? Is consuming true crime a form of advocacy, or are we all just a little too comfortable treating real tragedy like prime television?

It’s camp. It’s crime.

Plus: we premiere a brand-new segment, The Hinge Cringe, where the girls bravely (and foolishly) read the most horrifying dating app messages they’ve ever received — digital artifacts so unsettling they deserve to be sealed in a vault beneath the earth. Consider this your formal warning.
