    • The UAE says it has intercepted 15 missiles and 4 drones from Iran
    • Israel continues its attack on Lebanon and launched raids on two more towns. Since the so-called ceasefire, Israel has killed at least 834 Palestinians
    • Hegseth says the US has created a security dome for ships in the Strait
    • Iran has allegedly attacked the US 10 times since the ceasefire but Hegseth that’s not enough to restart combat
    • Trump says the war in Iran will probably last another 2 weeks, maybe 3 but time is not of the essence
    • House Dems are suggesting Israel has a nuclear program
    • Supreme Court allowed its recent Voting Rights Act of 1965 ruling to take effect immediately, bypassing the standard 32-day waiting period for Louisiana to redraw congressional maps

    • Hegseth will be holding a press conference since the ceasefire is in jeopardy
    • Chevron CEO says physical shortages of oil supply around the world are about to appear
    • The US claims it has sunk 6 or 7 small Iranian boats while Iran says no. Trump responded with they better hope the ceasefire sticks or he’ll blow Iran off the face of the Earth
    • Elon Musk has settled his SEC lawsuit over Twitter disclosures for $1.5M instead of the original $150M and without admitting wrongdoing

    • Project Freedom is what Trump is calling a naval mission guiding stranded ships out of the Strait. Iran says this is a breach of the ceasefire and claim two missiles hit a US frigate which is a warship. The US denies that.
    • The UAE is responding to Iranian drone attacks and are reporting a fire at an oil facility
    • Israeli strikes have struck 6 new Lebanese towns and 6 medics have been injured
    • Oil prices are climbing
    • Italy has opened an investigation into the treatment of the Gaza activists taken from the mutual aid boat
    • The Supreme Court has temporarily restored mail access to the abortion pill
    • Former Mayor of New York Rudy Guiliani is reportedly in critical condition in a Florida hospital
    • Yesterday, Trump had a dentist appointment in Florida despite the White House having an in house dentist
    • Trump took to his social media account again saying Rep Hakeem Jeffries is Low IQ and called for his impeachment for criticizing the Supreme Court and then referred to his perfect phone call that led to his own impeachment
    • Trump is planning on doing an overhaul of the East Potomac Golf Links to help beautify DC

    • Trump is reviewing Iran’s proposed plan in between posting about how low IQ Bill Maher is and comparing him to a less funny Jimmy Kimmel. The IRGC says Trump “must choose between an impossible military operation or a bad deal”
    • Israel has approved a deal to buy F35 and F15 fighter jets from Lockheed and Boeing which equates to an approximately $118B deal
    • Russian drone strikes have killed 10 in Ukraine as Zelensky says have struck oil tankers and a terminal
    • Two US Servicemembers are missing in Morocco after military exercises. The two were on a hike after the day’s activities and a search and rescue operation has been launched
    • US Attorney Jeanine Pirro, former Fox News host, claims she has proof the secret service member shot at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner was done so by the suspect
    • Danco Laboratories filed an emergency request with the Supreme Court to immediately pause a lower court ruling that blocks mail-order access to mifepristone
    • The $400M ballroom that would be paid for by donations from Meta, Apple, Google and so on with deductible donations might be paid by taxpayers. Lindsey Graham said he’s introducing legislation for you and me to pay for it instead. Don’t forget to vote him out by voting for Dr Annie Andrews
    • Trump is promising very interesting UFO files
    • In AI news, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said AI actors and writers will not be eligible for Oscars
    • Kentucky Derby was yesterday and Golden Tempo defeating 23-1 odds and making trainer Cherie DeVaux the first female trainer to win the Derby
    • Captain Jon Jackson who was supposed to fly his last Spirit Airlines flight and retire. His son mentioned to the Southwest pilots that it was supposed to be his last flight and when they landed in Baltimore, they were welcomed with a traditional water cannon, cheering employees and passengers in the terminal and a bottle of bubbly. Thank you Southwest!

    • In Lebanon, the death toll after 2 months is now 2,659, with 8,183 people injured, another 41 in the last 24 hours. Israeli forces also killed 7 in Gaza in the last 24 hours with their current death toll since October 7, 2023 to 72,608. Since their so-called ceasefire in October, 828 people have been killed. Israel has also just carried out further air attacks in Lebanon and set fire to a number of houses
    • Iran is working on a new law on managing the Strait of Hormuz and it includes preventing Israeli ships from passing
    • Spirit Airlines has shut down.
    • The US is withdrawing 5,000 troops from Germany
    • New York Archdiocese has offered $800M to settle sex abuse claims from approximately 1300 survivors
    • Trump was all over social media posting AI images of himself and being a racist
    • Trump says we might take over Cuba

    • Trump is not happy with the new proposal from Iran and said we might just not be able to get to a deal
    • Trump also said today that the US has already won the war but he wants to win by a bigger margin
    • Israeli attacks have killed 12 more in Lebanon
    • Trump said he’s hiking tariffs on cars from the EU from 15% to 25% starting in July
    • Spirit Airlines is set to fold but Trump confirmed today that he’s sent over a final proposal to them
    • Pope Leo has appointing Bishop Evelio Menjivar-Ayala to lead West Virginia Catholics
    • Pizza Hut is bringing back it’s book program!
    • Tonight is book club and we are discussing The Many Lives of Mama Love by Lara Love Hardin and Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. For my personal reading, I’ve started The Library of Flowers by L.C. Chu and The Art of Pacing by my friend Elizabeth Svoboda
