Addis’ journey is anything but typical. Raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Addis grew up in humble circumstances, working in a grocery store to help support his family, and sometimes sharing a single room with three others. Country music was rarely heard where he lived until, one day, Dolly Parton’s voice came through the store speakers. Honest, tender, and fearless, it stirred something in him he had never felt before. In that moment, he knew he wanted to create music that spoke to people’s hearts the way hers did.



Years later, Addis moved to the United States to pursue that calling — not just to sing country music, but to live it and connect through it. His seasoned voice carries a touch of gravel and a wealth of truth — the sound of someone who has lived what he sings. And no matter the setting, he is the same man.
