They are joined by Kaleb Henry, now editor-in-chief of Huskers Illustrated, and they all discuss the 2025-26 Husker sports season and what the programs can do for an encore. Husker defensive tackle Riley Van Poppel comes on the show to discuss his 2025 season, the offseason prep for 2026, and the outlook for he and his position group. Then Cole & Nate break down the defensive line group and give their confidence ratings for the 2026 season. The guys round out the show talking about Rhonda Revelle's extension and former Nebrasketballers playing in the FIBA World Cup. GBR!

The offensive line is super experienced in 2026 with the three Power-4 transfers and strong returning starters. Geep Wade's addition is another big part of the positive outlook for this season. Cole & Nate break it all down. The guys give their evaluation of the new home and away football uniforms...and Nate doesn't hate them! Wilson Moore from the Omaha World-Herald joins the show to chat about the summer workouts for Nebrasketball, and how the new transfers are gelling with the returnees. RIP to former football and basketball play-by-play man Warren Swain, who narrated the most recent football conference and national championships on the radio for Husker fans from 1996-2002. Softball and baseball have also been working to add to their teams for the 2027 season. Back on football, they move to the defense with their position previews, taking a closer look at linebacker. Husker newcomer Owen Chambliss, a transfer from San Diego State, joins the show to sum up his offseason and discusses expectations for the 2026 season. Cole and Nate break down the returnees and newcomers in the LB room and give their confidence rating for the group. Amie Just from the Lincoln Journal Star was in OKC and she recaps the amazing season. Plus, Lori Sippel announces her retirement, and Jordy Frahm will be joining the staff in her place! Husker baseball came up short in their first home regional since 2008. NU lost to Ole Miss and Arizona State, but still had their best season in 21 years. Cole & Nate take a closer look at the huge football recruiting weekend. They wrap the show by running down the Nebrasketball offseason news. GBR!

Nate tells us whether this Husker team is the best in program history. Cole updates the national scene as Husker baseball pushes to be one of 16 Regional hosts, summarizing the teams NU is competing with and where they are ranked. Yet another wild comeback victory for Nebraska strengthens the case to host a Regional. BTN commentator and former Husker All-American Jeff Leise joins Cole to discuss NU's strong top-to-bottom offense, the starting pitching finding consistency, and how a home Regional could boost Nebraska (Leise played in *four* Lincoln Regionals and two home Super Regionals). Husker football finally missed out on the offseason national championship, and Cole explains the perfect storm that has led people to react so negatively to Matt Rhule and all things football. GBR!!
