  • Major True Crime Updates: Madeline Soto, Cassie Carli,Demeria Hollingsworth, Bionca Ellis
    2026/09/01

This week, we're catching up on four heartbreaking cases we've covered before and there are some major developments.

The case of 12-year-old Demeria Hollingsworth remains stalled as her cousin continues to face murder and evidence-tampering charges.

We revisit the devastating murder of 3-year-old Julian Wood and the case against Bionca Ellis, whose insanity defense was rejected and who is now serving life without parole.

We also have a major update in the case of Cassie Carli, including the federal government's decision to seek the death penalty against Marcus Spanevelo and the latest on when his case could finally go to trial.

And after more than two years, the criminal case involving 13-year-old Madeline Soto has officially come to an end. Stephan Sterns pleaded no contest to murder and guilty to numerous child sexual abuse charges and received 21 life sentences without parole.

Four cases. Four very different updates. Four stories we refuse to forget.

  • Major True Crime Updates:Missy Woods Pleads Guilty,Ellen Greenberg,Mamta Bhatt and Return to Nature
    2026/08/25

This week, we're catching up on four cases we've covered before—and each one has a major new development.

Yvonne “Missy” Woods has pleaded guilty after being accused of manipulating DNA evidence in thousands of criminal cases. Ellen Greenberg's death has received renewed attention following news of a federal investigation. The Return to Nature funeral home scandal has resulted in lengthy prison sentences for Jon and Carie Hallford, along with a massive civil judgment against the couple. And in the case of Mamta Kafle Bhatt, the long-awaited murder trial of her husband Naresh is now scheduled for October 2026.

These cases are a reminder that a story doesn't end when an episode does. Sometimes the biggest developments happen months or even years later.

  • Case Updates: Kimberlee Singler, Barry Morphew, Amber Spradlin, Mia Campos, Sheila Mann
    2026/08/18

Some cases stay with us long after the episode ends.

This week, we're checking back in on five cases we've covered before and finding out what's happened since we first told their stories.

From Kimberlee Singler finally being extradited back to Colorado and facing trial, to the ongoing wait for justice in the murders of Amber Spradlin and Mia Campos, we're looking at where these cases stand now.

We're also checking in on Sheila Mann's case, where there has been frustratingly little movement, and the Suzanne Morphew case, where Barry Morphew is once again headed toward a murder trial.

These cases may have left our original episodes, but they haven't left our radar.
