Hey Carpool Crew,

A plan you were counting on falls apart, and it can wreck a kid's whole mood in two seconds. Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin opens Proverbs 16:9, where we plan our way but the Lord determines our steps. Even when the day goes sideways, God hasn't lost control for one second. The plan changed. He didn't. And some of the best days of the summer are the ones that didn't go the way anybody wanted.

This Tuesday episode hands kids three things to try this week: take a breath and ask God what to do with the day instead, whisper a one-sentence prayer when that crushed feeling comes, and ask the heart question, do I think a day is only good if it goes exactly my way? About 5 minutes, kid-friendly, with a discussion question to land on together.

Today's One Thing: We make plans, but God is still in charge when they fall apart.
