On this episode we sit down with Sensei Shintaro Nakano, 8x member of Japan's National Team, former head coach of San Jose State University's national championship winning judo team, as well as owner and director of Nakano Judo Academy in Santa Clara, California.
Shintaro talks to us about growing up training in Japan, his experience competing on Japan's National Team, coaching not one but two Olympians at San Jose State University, and opening his own academy.
