I'm excited to kick off a brand new season of the Journeys In Melody podcast with Corey van de Nes - a singer/songwriter and recording artist from Holland, with Jamaican heritage. She is the founder of A Peace of Me (APOM) Inspirational Entertainment.
Corey "The Soul Scientist" considers herself a prophetic singer, storyteller, and speaker whose life and work are centred on healing, restoration, and freedom through faith in God. Drawing from her personal journey with God, Corey uses music, spoken word, and storytelling to share powerful messages of hope, identity, and transformation.
Her heart is to help people move from brokenness and emotional wounds into healing, wholeness, and a deeper understanding of who they are in Christ. With authenticity and compassion, she addresses topics such as emotional well-being, spiritual growth, overcoming adversity, and living from a place of purpose and God-given identity.
She shares her journey from being a secular soul/R&B singer and travelling internationally to finding Christ and transformation, which has shaped her music and message today. She opens up about her struggles, experiences, rise, her life before and after finding Christ and why she decided to focus on healing for the soul.
