    2022/06/14
Caitlin Rushing was a delight to chat with. She is a singer-songwriter with a story to tell. We PREMIERE her BRAND NEW single "Why You Gotta," a first for Journey to the Stage. We dig into how Caitlin has sold most of her belongings so her and her husband can live a mobile life as they see the country and play for her growing fanbase along the way. We talk about her journey as an artist and listen to her great song, Tennessee, and get the song's backstory. If you are a fan of music with heart, then you will love Caitlin. • Episode 16: The Whitmore Sisters (Bonnie & Eleanor)- Americana Rock artists.
    2022/05/23
Sisters Eleanor and Bonnie Whitmore are accomplished musicians, singers, songwriters, instrumentalists and artist apart from each other. Eleanor and her husband Chris Masterson comprise the harmony rich group, The Mastersons, and Bonnie has forged her career as a rockin' solo artist. While Bonnie and Eleanor grew up singing together, their separate journeys as artists did not give them space to write and record an album together. Until Now. Their debut album, "Ghost Stories," has been universally praised and has found great Billboard Chart success. Their sibling harmonies are rich and the songwriting is incredible. In this episode we play two songs from the album and get some insight into their respective backstories. We talk a bit of musical journey and learn which Whitmore was the teacher's pet in school and which would most likely survive the zombie apocalypse.
