このコンテンツについて

In this powerful episode, we follow the inspiring and deeply personal journey of Jennie Marie, a licensed psychotherapist and certified psychedelic medicine therapist, as she travels to Mexico in search of authentic, transformative healing experiences with plant and animal psychedelic medicines.

After three separate visits to the Cancun region and sitting with 17 different medicine providers, Jennie Marie finally met her teacher—the medicine woman Ixca, a guide and healer who would shape her path forward.

What sparked this calling? It all began during her fellowship training at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, where Jennie Marie was introduced to the clinical promise and sacred history of medicines like Bufo (5-MeO-DMT), Psilocybin, Ayahuasca, Kambo, Peyote, San Pedro, and more.

Because these sacred medicines remain inaccessible and criminalized in the U.S., Jennie Marie traveled to Mexico to work with indigenous medicine holders—those with ancestral traditions and deep spiritual connections to these powerful substances.

🌵 One of the most profound moments? A visit to the Seri Tribe in the Sonoran Desert, where she and her colleague Stacey participated in a Bufo ceremony with the people who are the original stewards of the Sonoran Toad (Bufo alvarius). This deeply humbling experience marked a turning point in her work and soul.

Today, Jennie Marie hosts retreats in the Cancun area, offering individuals the opportunity to experience life-changing healing through legal and respectful access to sacred medicines.
