Three Prayer Themes: God’s purposes • Hope for tomorrow • Trusting God’s direction Scripture — Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” The day is beginning to slow down. Perhaps you’re travelling home, preparing dinner, sitting with family, or finally finding a quiet moment to breathe. And sometimes, when the noise of the day becomes quieter, the questions about tomorrow become louder. What happens next? Will things work out? Where is God leading me? Perhaps you’ve been carrying those questions quietly for some time. Lord Jesus, we bring those questions to You tonight. We don’t know everything tomorrow will bring, but You do. You see the whole road when we can only see the next step. Help us trust You with the things we cannot yet understand, the decisions we are making, and the hopes we are carrying quietly. When uncertainty weighs on us, remind us that Your presence has not left us. Be close to people across Canada, Brazil, Hungary, Romania, Russia and Ireland. Meet families around dinner tables, people returning from work, those facing difficult decisions, and those wondering what their future holds. Remind them that they have not been forgotten and that their lives remain within Your loving care. Holy Spirit, when uncertainty fills our thoughts, turn our hearts back towards Jesus. The God of Israel is faithful, even when His purposes are hidden from us. Help us trust His character when we cannot yet understand His timing. Jesus, I place tomorrow in Your hands. Jesús, pongo mi futuro en Tus manos. Jesus, entrego o meu futuro nas Tuas mãos. Jesus, ipinagkakatiwala ko sa Iyo ang aking kinabukasan. We may not see the whole road tonight, but we can take the next step with God. Release the need to know everything. Receive His hope for tomorrow and His peace for tonight. Amen.
