 As the Lori Daybell trial is underway, we will recap each day of trial here. Host Kayla Waters lives in southeastern Idaho where Tylee Ryan & JJ Vallow’s bodies were found on Chad Daybell’s property. This same property is where Tammy Daybell was killed. Lori Daybell, also known as Lori Vallow, is charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of her children. A 3rd count of conspiracy to commit murder is for the death of of Tammy Daybell. Lori has also been charged with conspiracy to commit grand theft, for using social security checks in the name of her children who had already died. The nation has been waiting years for this trial and it’s finally coming to an end, here in Idaho.     On day 1 of 'The State of Idaho vs. Lori Norene Daybell' I attended the live stream viewing of the trial at the Madison County Courthouse in Rexburg, Idaho. Lori Daybell aka Lori Vallow is being charged with the 1st degree murder of both her children: Tylee Ryan & JJ Vallow. She is also being charged with 3 counts of conspiracy to commit murder in the deaths of Tylee Ryan, JJ Vallow, & Tammy Daybell. The last charge is for conspiracy to commit grand theft by deception, for using the funds from social security checks in her children's names. In episode 1, I will recap the opening statements for you here.

    On the same day as opening statements, the prosecution calls Kay Woodcock & Brandon Boudreaux to the stand. In this episode we will recap their testimony against Lori Vallow Daybell, who is accused of 1st degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, & grand theft. Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow's bodies were discovered on Chad Daybells property on June 9th 2020. Tammy Daybell was exhumed on December 11th 2019, and it was discovered that she died of asphyxiation at the hands of another.

    On the 2nd day of Witness testimony in Lori Daybell's murder trial, we hear from only 1 witness- Detective Ray Hermosillo from the Rexburg Police Department. He will testify about the investigation leading up to the discovery of JJ Vallow's & Tylee Ryan's remains on Chad Daybell's property in Fremont County. He recalls the search conducted on June 9th 2020, & he identifies photograph's of the remains. Lt. Jared Willmore works for the Madison County Sheriff's office overseeing the telemate system. On day 3 of witness testimony, Lt. Willmore identifies a phone call made between Lori Vallow Daybell & Chad Daybell. This phone call is played in court. Last to testify on the 3rd day is Lt. Joseph Powell. He works for the Fremont County Sheriff's office & he investigated Tamara Daybell's murder. He was also present during Tammy's exhumation & autopsy.
