It is not easy to disconnect from our circumstances, but we can keep circumstances from dictating our response to the unexpected. Over the years there are highs and lows but when you understand the promises of God, allowing “severe anguish” to cripple you has to take a back seat to saying “It’s all right!”
Now you may not honestly be all right, but you can learn to declare “it’s” all right. It’s okay, if you aren’t okay, when it’s all right. You can be in severe anguish, while your situation is in transition to a miracle.
Listen and learn the 5 things to do with your “it” while you’re waiting. The biblical account of the woman whose son died in 2 Kings 4:23, 25-26 uses language that makes us take a step back from how we view unpleasant situations.
The CSB version of the Bible states, “It’s all right” so I must ask you… What is your “it”?
