In this inspiring episode of Islamically Correct, we sit down with Dr. Muhyiddin Mohamed, a doctor, aesthetic practitioner, and young Kenyan entrepreneur whose journey is rooted in barakah, discipline, and purpose.

Growing up between Nairobi and Mombasa, Dr. Muhyiddin was raised by a strong mother who shaped his work ethic early—from helping her run a small restaurant to learning the value of service. Although he didn’t choose medicine at first, a family illness and his father’s insistence pushed him into the field… a decision that later became his blessing.

After studying medicine in Uganda, he returned to Kenya during COVID and began his internship at a government hospital, earning 150K — a salary he says “never had barakah.” But later, a private hospital job with much less pay brought him barakah, stability, and clarity.

With $20,000 saved and gifted by his mother, Dr. Muhyiddin and his family opened Damal Hospital, a healthcare center built on the principle of putting patients first. For him, barakah comes from sincere service, dua, and the prayers of the people he treats. This episode is a beautiful reminder that success is not just strategy—it’s service, sincerity, and the blessings of Allah.
