Isaiah 7:10–14 speaks into a moment of fear and political crisis, where King Ahaz refuses God’s offer of a miraculous sign and chooses human alliances over faith. In response, God Himself gives a deeper promise: a child called Immanuel—“God with us”—a sign that He will remain faithful to the house of David despite the king’s unbelief.
