概要

We live in an age where men are under siege. The battle for the soul is waged daily — in our minds, our homes, our work, and even within the church. The world’s vision of success is broken.

We started the Iron & Grace Podcast to step into this battle — to start the conversation, to motivate men to stand firm in the faith. Our foundation is God’s Word. Our mission is to proclaim the gospel, build disciples, and live out our faith with action.

We are striving to cultivate a fellowship of men who live for what truly matters: building strong Christian households, raising up big families dedicated to God, serving our wives with love, and raising children as arrows of light in a dark world. We will help those in need, serve the poor, honor widows, protect children, and work with passion, integrity, and character — as if everything we do is unto God, because it is.

And when our time comes, we want to be able to say honestly, “I have fought the good fight.”, hanging our swords in Heaven and finding rest with God.

  • New Years | 2026 Starting the Year Right
    2026/01/22

In this short New Years episode we discuss what is in store for the podcast coming into 2026 and our hope for the podcast. We close out the episode unpacking "New Years Resolutions" beneficial or setting yourself up for failure.

"Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”-- yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” - James 3:13-15

    In This Episode:

    • Reflecting on the new year and the direction of the podcast
    • Why intention matters more than New Year’s resolutions
    • Setting goals without rigid timelines
    • The danger of delaying change for the “right moment”
    • Discipline, consistency, and realistic expectations
    • Why most resolutions fail and how to think differently
    • Incremental growth vs. all or nothing thinking
    • Faith, humility, and acknowledging what’s out of our control
    • Living honestly in everyday environments, not just on Sundays
    • The value of unpolished, real conversations
    • Creating impact through consistency, not perfection
    • Why growth happens through action, not intention alone

  • What Happened to the Household? | Generational Families and The Productive Household.
    2026/01/17

In this episode we explore what has happened to the household. This country was build on productive households that stewarded their resources well, passing not just wealth, but knowledge down generations. We have walked from that into self-centered households focusing on individualism instead of community. Culture is failing around us but there is hope. We can save this failing system by rebuilding strong productive households that enable the family to flourish.

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." - Ephesians 6:4

    This Episode:

    • What the household used to look like across generations
    • Why multigenerational living was once normal
    • How independence changed family structure
    • The difference between healthy boundaries and abandonment
    • Aging parents and shared family responsibility
    • Why convenience often weakens families over time
    • The cost of outsourcing family care to institutions
    • How individualism reshaped expectations of family
    • Why strong families require sacrifice, not comfort
    • The household as a unit, not just individuals
    • What happens when generations stop supporting one another
    • Rebuilding responsibility inside the modern family
    • How households shape culture, values, and stability
    • Why strong families lead to stronger communities
