On this week's edition of the podcast Peter and Ronan share in the winning feeling as victories come like buses for Irish golf with Liam Nolan and Paul McBride securing potentially career changing triumphs. McBride won the Clutch Pro Tour finale to seal a HotelPlanner Tour card while Nolan earned his maiden pro win at the Abu Dhabi Challenge to boost his hopes of promotion to the DP World Tour.

Nolan joined Ronan for a chat about his victory while there is also an in depth review of the PGA Cup and discussion over what the next step is for Jon Rahm who confirmed he is leaving LIV Golf before next season begins.

Shane Lowry rewrote the narrative of his season with a clinical thumping display of front running as he pummelled the field into submission to win his second Irish Open and his first victory since 2022. Just south in The Netherlands, Leona Maguire also changed the fortunes of her year as she played a key role in helping Europe win back the Solheim Cup with a thrilling win over the USA. The touch paper was lit though by one of sport's greatest comebacks as GB&I downed the USA in Lahinch for their first triumph since 2015.

On this week's edition of the podcast, Ronan returns from EP to sit in the hot seat as Mark dials in from sunny Sligo! The lads react to the KPMG Women's Irish Open at the K Club which kicked off a very busy period of tournaments on the island of Ireland.

Irish Golfer Event Series 2026

On this week's edition of the podcast Peter and Ronan chat about what appears on the face of it to be an underwhelming Walker Cup after only Stuart Grehan was part of Dean Robertson's ten man GB&I team to face the USA in two weeks. Peter and Ronan (fresh from Birkdale) are back in studio to review Ryan Fox's Open Championship victory. The New Zealander joined Michael Campbell and Bob Charles in earning a men's major victory with a thoroughly impressive display on the back nine where he reached out and grabbed the Claret Jug with both hands with four birdies in his last six holes and two in his last three.

There were also plenty of other storylines and the lads dive in to discuss Bryson DeChambeau, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry while there are worrying signs for Tommy Fleetwood.
