On this week's edition of the podcast Ronan is joined by Flogas Irish Amateur Open champion Patrick Keeling after he clinched his maiden championship at Seapoint Golf Links a fortnight ago. The Roganstown star sat down to talk through his win and dove deep into how finding faith in Christ has helped him not just on the course but in everyday life.

Keeling reveals how his belief in Jesus has given him greater clarity on the golf course and has relieved some of the pressures he once felt when he went to college in the US and now he has full belief that more good results will come and he can build on his Irish Amateur victory.

The podcast comes live from Seapoint Golf Links ahead of the Flogas Irish Men's Amateur Open Championship getting underway on Thursday. Ronan takes the mic and he is joined by Managing Director of Flogas, John Rooney, Flogas ambassador and current Legends Tour player Gary Murphy and Seapoint's very own Dylan Keating who is looking to become a home winner this week.

The golf course looks in spectacular condition as the players go through their final preparations while we discuss the championship ahead and have a broader look at amateur golf with some huge events on the calendar this year.

There was a lot to pack in after two weeks which saw Ronan take in his first Masters and deliver an Irish winner in Rory McIlroy. There was no sense of a lull after the first major of the year as the golf news space was rife with rumours of LIV Golf's demise.

Peter and Ronan dive into Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and where LIV Golf goes from here after bizarre reports that PIF was going to pull funding for the Saudi-backed Tour.

Ronan dials in from Augusta National as he and Peter wax lyrical about Rory McIlroy's 36-hole performance which has given him the largest Masters lead at this stage in history. A blistering four closing birdies and six birdies in seven holes on the back nine have Rory six shots clear on twelve-under after a 65.

All the stats point towards it being done. But can a certain Shane Lowry maintain his challenge? Ronan also goes through everything he has seen over the two days, including his favourite pint of choice and tasty treats.

From storm Dave, US Border Control and then a hotel fire, Ronan has had quite the year trying to get to the Masters. He has finally made it and jumps on a call with Pete to go through his experience so far and everything he has seen at Augusta National on Monday and Tuesday.
