This special podcast in celebration of International Women's Day discusses the challenges women face in the workplace from stress and burnout to imposter syndrome and balancing work with their family and other commitments.
Women often wear many hats – wife, mum, employee, perhaps carer for elderly relatives…the list can go on - which can lead to feelings of stress, exhaustion and failure. So finding a career you love, where you set the agenda and working hours can really help with the overwhelm. So with International Women's Day just round the corner we chatted to 3 inspirational female IHS graduates, Sylvia Sigurdardottir, Michelle Scanlon and Sinead Donovan who are all forging a second career in an industry they love having taken the leap from very different previous roles. If you are considering turning a passion (whatever that is) into a career, or you just need to step back and reprioritise some aspects of your life, then hopefully today we can inspire you to take the first steps towards doing just that!
