このコンテンツについて
In this conversation, Corban David Jenai speaks with Alicia Decker, the CEO of Mended Light, about trauma healing and finding healing from past experiences. Alicia shares her personal journey of healing and emphasizes the importance of making friends with the rejected parts of ourselves.
They discuss the power of being witnessed and seen by others, as well as the impact of childhood experiences on our sense of worth. Alicia also highlights the value of understanding our personality types and how they influence our relationships and self-perception.
The healing journey involves confronting rejected parts of ourselves and unraveling coping mechanisms that no longer serve us. Healing trauma requires creating safety in the nervous system and expanding its capacity.
She lays out for us seven principles of healing from trauma. These are recognizing innate worth, communicating with the higher self, embracing the power of choice, rebuilding trust, cultivating compassion, practicing mindfulness, and living one's dream. Mended Light offers resources, programs, and support to guide individuals through the healing process.
Alicia Decker is the CEO of Mended Light, a trauma healing organization. She is an accomplished entrepreneur and business strategist and has developed a healing program with her team that helps people get to the root of their trauma and find healing in the process.
