In this concluding episode of The Kingdom Mandate Podcast series Inherited Traditions, Apostle Jason T. Bardwell brings the entire week into focus by revealing the central issue beneath inherited traditions, inherited thinking, inherited fear, and inherited performance. At the heart of every one of these issues is a question of government. Every life is governed by something, every heart has a throne, and every throne has a king. This broadcast challenges believers to move beyond simply examining what they believe and begin asking what is actually governing those beliefs, decisions, reactions, and desires.

This teaching establishes that salvation is not merely forgiveness from sin. It is a transfer of government. Through Jesus Christ, those who repent and believe are delivered from the authority of darkness and brought beneath the righteous rule of the King. The Christian life is therefore not about adding Jesus to an already established life. It is about surrendering the entire life to His authority. Our priorities, desires, understanding, relationships, decisions, and responses must increasingly come beneath the government of Jesus Christ.

Apostle Bardwell also confronts the difference between possessing biblical information and actually living in submission to biblical truth. Spiritual maturity cannot be measured only by years in church, knowledge of Scripture, ministry experience, or religious activity. The true evidence of maturity is found in how completely Christ governs the life. When His government is established within the heart, correction produces humility, disappointment produces trust, uncertainty produces dependence, and obedience becomes the visible evidence that the throne truly belongs to Jesus.

This final broadcast is a call to Inherited Freedom, the freedom that comes when every tradition, mindset, fear, and pattern of performance that did not originate with the King is surrendered beneath His authority. Lasting transformation is not produced by simply trying harder. It is produced through continual surrender to the Holy Spirit and increasing submission to the Word of God. The ultimate question of this series is not how much truth we have heard, but how much authority Jesus Christ possesses within us. Traditions may be inherited, but the Kingdom must be chosen, and every day presents another opportunity to declare through our lives that Jesus Christ alone sits upon the throne.
