概要
What is leadership behaviour really?
In this episode, I break down a simple idea that has a powerful impact once you understand it. Leadership is not a title. It is not authority. And it is not something you wait for.
It is behaviour.
A common question is what leadership actually looks like in everyday situations. The answer comes down to how you act, especially when you are not required to. Leadership starts long before responsibility is given. It shows up in how you approach tasks, how you interact with others, and how you respond when things are not going to plan.
I explain why people follow behaviour, not words. What you say matters far less than what you consistently demonstrate. People watch patterns. They notice what you repeat. And over time, they respond to that.
This is where influence comes in. Influence is not something you announce. It is something you build. Through small, repeated actions that shape how others think, act, and respond.
I also break down why role modelling is so powerful. People naturally mirror what they see. When you demonstrate reliability, accountability, and clarity, those behaviours begin to spread. This is how expectations are set and culture is shaped without needing to say anything.
Another key idea in this episode is simple but important. What you walk past is what you accept. What you ignore sends a signal. And those signals shape the standard others follow.
This builds directly on the previous episodes in the series. After understanding standards, consistency, accountability, and trust, this is where influence starts to expand your impact beyond yourself.
Because leadership is not about what you control. It is about what you influence.
I also explain how trust and influence are built over time through consistency. Small actions such as following through, communicating clearly, and maintaining standards may seem minor, but they compound into reputation.
If you want to improve how you show up, influence others, and create better outcomes in any environment, this episode will give you a practical starting point.
Because influence is not something you gain overnight. It is something you build, one action at a time.
