  • Alex Reiter
    2023/03/13

    Dr. Alex Reiter is currently a research associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alex is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, and served in the active military as aviator flying Kiowas (OH-58). Alex completed one combat deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom during his active duty career. Alex transitioned off Active Duty in order to pursue his PhD, and transitioned over to the US Army Reserves and was an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Washington University in St Louis. Alex recently transitioned to the 75th Innovation Command and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for aviation and biomedical related applications. Alex earned his PhD in mechanical engineering focused on Biomechanics. His active research is focused on using wearable technologies to measure human movement and function, specifically in terms of traumatic and overuse injury patterns.
