概要
This series is called “In the Spotlight” an oral history of live musicians working in London’s west end. It explores the varied working lives of freelance musicians (some going back to the 1940s) working in the nightclubs, the jazz and rock clubs, restaurants, tea dances and the function scene as well as in the theatres in central London.
In Episode two musicians tell us about the atmosphere of central London, starting out as professionals, and the role of Archer Street and fixers.
This podcast was produced by digital works.
