概要
I went to the emergency room 2 times recently. I made several observations about my time in 2 different facilities and ways that they can improve. Some of my observations were: 1) there was a dismissiveness among medical staff about my concerns, 2) I observed several patients in the ER who were fully clothed, 3) medical staff speaking poorly about and to other patients freely and openly, and 4) microaggressions in my treatment.
There is a need to improve compassionate care with patients. I make several suggestions on ways that medical staff and facilities can improve.
