Awards season is still coming in hot and heavy and Adam and Kyrie are here to talk about it all! They discuss some of the latest movies they've seen, including Zootopia 2 and Rental Family. And then they dive into more upcoming films. We've got Avatar: Fire and Ash! We've got Hamnet! We've got Wake Up Dead Man! We've got Marty Supreme! Long story short, the Oscars are going to be wild this year and you'll hear all of their takes over the coming weeks!

Adam and Kyrie continue the conversation surrounding new releases, all the new blockbusters and awards contenders. Adam gives his thoughts on Train Dreams, Rental Family, and Wicked. Kyrie is still drowning in school and didn't have much to offer to that part of the episode. But they also do a holiday-themed Arts vs Charts where they compare the Christmas classic, Home Alone, with the 1955 masterpiece Night of the Hunter. Two very different films, with some surprising similarities!

Adam and Kyrie continue their journey through Disney's Star Wars content by diving into the Obi-Wan Kenobi mini-series. Good news, it's not as bad as the sequel trilogy. Bad news, it's not quite as good as seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian. But first, Kyrie finally got around to watching Wicked Part 1 and they both weigh in on its pros and cons in preparation for the release of part 2! And with awards season ramping up, they share some thoughts on one contender: Del Toro's latest, Frankenstein.

With the release of Wicked Part 2: For Good on the horizon, Kyrie and Adam decided to take a look at their personal favorite musicals! Adam picked a classic, but then chose to highlight a couple more contemporary ones, while Kyrie chose to select a classic one, an animated one, and a modern hit. They also discuss some of the new releases and some highly anticipated awards contenders coming out over the next few weeks.

Adam and Kyrie get together to discuss a couple of highly regarded films involving composers/conductors. Kyrie, of course, had some complaints about how long these movies are, but Adam and Kyrie both praise the overall quality and craftsmanship at play. They also discuss separation of art and artist and how objectivity/subjectivity impact viewing experience, as well as determining how to give star ratings.

Kyrie and Adam discuss all things Halloween! Kyrie mostly focuses on a couple specials that were traditions while growing up. And Adam dives into how his spooky watching has changed over time. They also quickly recap some October releases, as well as seeing the big hits coming out in November (it's awards season, baby!).

Adam and Kyrie continue their Star Wars journey by watching seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian. This was a rewatch for Adam, who already really enjoyed this after the failure that was the sequel trilogy. Kyrie was watching this for the first time and...is their faith in Star Wars being restored?

In the spirit of Spooky Season, Kyrie and Adam take a look at some of their favorite monsters and creatures throughout cinema. Everything from dinosaurs, to mechanical beings, to aliens! They had two slightly different takes, but they also had their first ever match up!
