  • The Call from Midnight Peak — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/07
A cold November night in 2017. Luna receives an email from an old childhood friend, Cora Mills, who vanished without a trace twelve years ago. The message contains only a photo of a payphone outside a rest stop on Route 17 near the town of Harpersville, New York—and a plea to call a number that has been disconnected for years. Luna drives four hours to the rest stop, hoping to find answers, but instead finds the payphone ringing in the dark. The voice on the other end is Cora's, but not quite. Fragments of a memorial service, a fire at the old high school, and a name carved into a tree converge into something Luna cannot explain. She ends the night staring at her own reflection in the phone booth glass, unsure if she ever left.

  • The Night Shift at the Shilling Diner — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/06
It's 3 AM in early November, 2019, and Luna is alone at the Shilling Diner off Route 9 in western Massachusetts. A woman in a grey coat walks in, orders black coffee, and sits in the far booth — the one under the flickering fluorescent light. Over the next hour, Luna learns her name is Cora, and that Cora has been driving for six hours from a town that doesn't appear on any map. She has a story about a roadside motel, a man who knocks on doors at 2:47 AM, and a photograph she carries in her coat pocket. She asks Luna to look at it. What Luna sees in that photograph — and what happens when she turns it over — is something she still can't explain. A quiet, slow-burn episode about memory, roads that curve in the wrong direction, and the kindness you offer a stranger who might not be a stranger at all.

  • The Red-Green Bungalow on Sycamore Lane — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/05
In the autumn of 2018, Luna's college friend Mara moved into a rental bungalow on Sycamore Lane in the small town of Ridgefield, Missouri. The house was cheap for a reason: the previous tenant had disappeared without a trace. At first, the quirks seemed harmless—a cold spot in the hallway, a radio that turned on by itself. But then Mara found the letters. Dozens of them, hidden inside a hollow floorboard beneath the bed, all addressed to a woman named Elise and all ending the same way: a single line in red ink that read, 'I have you now.' As Luna helps Mara sort through the letters, they realize the sender never stopped writing—and the last letter is dated three days after the previous tenant vanished. This episode is a slow-burn descent into obsession, boundary erosion, and the terror of being watched from inside your own home.

  • The Hollow Man of Clearwater Road — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/04
In the dead of a humid July night, on a gravel road that cuts through the canebrakes outside Opelika, Alabama, my cousin Danny saw something that hollowed him out. Not a monster with teeth, but a man-shaped absence—a silhouette that stood too still at the edge of a cane field, wearing clothes that didn't move in the wind. Danny has always been the practical one, the one who fixes engines and doesn't flinch at thunderstorms. But after that night on Clearwater Road, he stopped looking out windows after dark. This is the story he told me, piece by piece, over four phone calls, each one shorter and quieter than the last. It's about a thing that waits at crossroads, not to make deals—just to be seen. And once you see it, you can't unsee it. The horror isn't in what it does. The horror is in the way it stands there, doing nothing, until you realize it has always been there, watching from the edges of every field you've ever passed. By the time Danny finished talking, my hands were shaking. And I wasn't even the one who saw it.

  • The Keeper of the Town Station — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/03
On a humid August night in 2019, Luna stops at a lonely gas station on Route 17 outside the small town of Pender, Ohio. The station is abandoned except for an old man who tends the pumps in silence. He speaks only once, in a voice like dry leaves. He tells her about the station's true purpose: not to sell gas, but to keep something sleeping beneath the concrete. A story about a night shift, a dead phone, and a thing that breathes under your car. This is a slow-burn horror about watchfulness, isolation, and the places we refuse to leave.

  • The Last Reply from Starlight Lane — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/02
July 1998. A dead-end tech-support job in a strip mall outside Bakersfield. One cubicle, one flickering monitor, one email that arrived at 3:07 AM—from a colleague who had been dead for six months. Luna recounts how she spent eight hours inside that thread, trying to close a ticket that didn't exist, while the woman in the next booth kept humming a song that wasn't playing. The air conditioner cycled on and off. The parking lot stayed empty. And somewhere between the fourth and fifth reply, Luna realized she wasn't the one asking questions anymore. This is a story about the things that slip through the cracks in a system—unread, unresolved, and waiting. Not a ghost story. Just a story about a message you should have deleted.
