The South Asian Cricket Academy is an intervention program that has already grown beyond any expectations. Led by Dr Tom Brown, the program sought to address the inequality of opportunity players from a South Asian background were facing within the professional system. Just four years after the program's creation, the academy has already seen 18 of its graduates go pro.
