Our Miss Brooks, “New School Bus” (episode 155), originally broadcast January 27, 1952. In this AFRS version of the CBS comedy, Eve Arden stars as Madison High English teacher Connie Brooks, with Gale Gordon as the ever-exasperated Principal Osgood Conklin.

Conklin’s birthday has him determined to appear younger than his years, while Madison High’s celebrated “new” school bus proves to have a decidedly awkward past as a former police paddy wagon. Jeff Chandler, Richard Crenna, Jane Morgan, and Gloria McMillan co-star.
