Buried To Live!
Today's message is a special one. We had a baptism this morning at Our Savior's, and honestly, there is nothing quite like watching God claim a life right in front of your eyes. So I want to take this episode to walk through what baptism actually means, straight from God's Word, in Romans chapter 6, verses 1 through 5.
Here's the thing. A lot of us have watched a baptism, maybe even our own children's, and we walked away thinking, "That was sweet," but we never really understood what just happened. Baptism is not just a nice church tradition. It is not just a photo opportunity with a cute outfit and a proud grandma in the second pew. Baptism is God doing something real. He is burying the old you and raising up something brand new.
