Moving on from the theme of the opening four Episodes of chapter seven -- which focused on identifying the obstacles in developing, and/or maintaining of our Bitachon -- we now move on to THE TRUST LADDER documenting rising levels within Bitachon. Yet, per previously, just as shortsighted, faithless perspectives of Divine management, and the cause and effect of things are an impediment to acquiring Bitachon, here too we will learn how our awareness of Divine Providence and mastery (or lack thereof) enhances (or diminishes) the level of Bitachon we can nurture and develop. This Episode introduces Part One, aptly entitled: BORN INNOCENT. Here we will demonstrate the direct corollary between the level of understanding in the progression of Trust Development. The analogue to our trust in G-d is obvious. Although matters of Faith and Trust nest in the supra rational dimension of our psyche, Rabbainu Bachaya clearly illustrates natural bridge between rhyme, reason and understanding towards the attainment of proper Trust in G-d!
