We are living in wicked times. A teenage girl and her boyfriend go on a deadly hunt through their own city. Children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.” Mark 13:12 “You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you will be put to death.” Luke 21:16 “There is a generation of those who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers. / There is a generation of those who are pure in their own eyes and yet unwashed of their filth. / There is a generation—how haughty are their eyes and pretentious are their glances…” Proverbs 30:11-14 “They will put you out of the synagogues. In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.” John 16:2 But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. / For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, / unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good…” 2 Timothy 3:1-5 Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” Matthew 24:12 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. / So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4
