I joined the Navy when I was 17 years old. I thought I'd stay in for 20 years and retire. But life had other plans. One day, they told me and 3,000 other sailors that we were being let go. Just like that, the only life I knew was gone.
In this first episode, I share my story with you. How I got here. How everything fell apart, and how my faith helped me put it back together. This is where Transition by Faith began, and I want you here for the very start of it.
In this episode, you'll learn:
• Why losing my Navy career was the scariest thing that ever happened to me, and somehow the best thing too
• Why being honest and open is where real healing starts, even when it feels too scary to do
• What "feel the fear and do it anyway" really means, and how I learned it hanging off the side of a mountain
