A 26-year-old sailor from Norfolk, Virginia, Bailey Dwayne Burnett, has been sentenced to ten years in prison for coercing and enticing a minor — a crime that unfolded online. In January 2023, Burnett was exchanging child sexual abuse material with another sailor and discussing ways to involve minors. By August 2025, investigators found 69 images on his phone — but his cloud accounts held 3,692 images and videos, including those of toddlers and infants.
