In this devotional, we reflect on how easy it is to feel overwhelmed by everything ahead and how we are not meant to carry the whole future at once. We read from Proverbs 3:5-6, which calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, not lean on our own understanding, and acknowledge him in all our ways.

We talk about how worry often grows when we try to think about tomorrow, next week, and every possible outcome at once. Instead, we are reminded that God does not ask us to solve the entire future. He asks us to trust him with today and take the next step even without all the answers.

We focus on narrowing our attention to what is in front of us now. The message is that when we do that, what felt overwhelming becomes more manageable, because today is where God’s grace meets us.

We close by praying for help to trust God with today, to rely on him instead of our own understanding, and to take one step at a time in peace, believing that he is guiding us forward.
