概要

 Luna drives a moonless night in October 1998 along a gravel county road in southern Nebraska, past the faded grain silo outside the town of Bruning. She stops for a red light that has no business being there—a signal blinking from atop a derelict silo that was supposed to be empty for thirty years. A man in coveralls and no face waits beside a pickup truck with the engine running. He speaks her name without a mouth. She follows the light because her headlights refuse to work, because the radio has been playing only AM static and a single country song on loop, because the road that led into Bruning now leads back past the same wheat field she passed twenty minutes ago. By the time she understands that the silo is not a building but something that collects—remembers—she is already standing inside it, and the walls are humming with voices of people who never left. The episode ends with Luna walking out of the silo at dawn, but the gravel road is gone, replaced by a pavement that leads to a town that has the same street names as Bruning but none of the same people.
