概要

 October 1997. A stretch of gravel county road outside Colby, Kansas, where the wheat stubble glows silver under a full moon. Luna's truck breaks down near a single clapboard church that isn't on any map — no steeple, no sign, just a door hanging open and a pump organ playing itself in the dark. Inside, a man in a dust-colored suit sits in the front pew, waiting for a congregation that will never come. He speaks of the Gabriel Wind — a thing that doesn't blow across the plains but rises up from beneath them, and he claims it has a voice. Luna stays to listen because the organ won't stop, and because she needs to know what happens when that wind finally reaches the surface.
