概要

 Luna recalls a man who came into the diner every night for three weeks during the summer of 2011, in the small town of Carthage, Missouri. He always sat at the end of the counter, never ordered, just watched the window with a kind of patient dread. She thought he was just another lost soul, until she realized he wasn't watching for something outside—he was watching for something inside, something that moved behind the glass like a reflection that didn't belong. The night he spoke, she learned what he was waiting for, and why he always left before the sun came up.
