概要

 March 2022, outside the dried-up town of Mercy, Nevada. Luna meets an old caver named Garrett Vogt in a diner, who tells her about the summer of '87 when his brother Danny disappeared into a vertical shaft called Vogt's Well—named after their grandfather who drilled it and never came out. Garrett spent thirty-five years going back down, not to find Danny, but to listen. He says the well doesn't echo anymore. It talks back. Luna follows him to the site, and what she hears from the dark stays with her like a second set of fingerprints.
