概要

 Luna arrives at the Sunstone Motel in the high desert of New Mexico, mid-July, just before the monsoon season breaks. The air smells of creosote and hot asphalt. She takes the night shift at the front desk, left alone with a guest register, a brass bell, and a flickering VACANCY sign. The first night is quiet — too quiet. A single knock comes at the door just after 2 a.m. When she opens it, no one is there, but the key to Room 11 lies on the welcome mat, still warm. The episode ends with Luna holding that key, the static on the TV shifting into something like a voice.
