概要

 October 1944. A farmhouse outside Cades, South Carolina, two miles off the main road. Luna tells the story of a woman named Ruth Gentry, who wrote to her husband overseas every night for a year. Every letter ended the same way: 'Come home from the well.' The letters came back, but something else came up from the well instead. No neat answers. Only a dry hole in the ground, a child's name scratched into the stone lip, and the sound of water where there should have been none.
