概要

 A cold November night in 2019. A small Appalachian town called Elum's Hollow, population three hundred and twelve. A backwoods church with a bell that rings three times at midnight—every night, without fail, for as long as anyone can remember. Luna hears the story from a woman named Martha, who came to Elum's Hollow seven years ago seeking quiet, and found something else instead. The bell rings once for the living. Twice for the dead. The third bell—that's the one nobody talks about. Martha tells Luna about the night she followed the sound into the woods behind the church, about the flicker of light between the pines, about the prayer she heard whispered in a language older than the town itself. She tells her about the man who walks the ridge with his collar turned up and his hands behind his back. And she tells her about the morning after, when the frost on her windowsill spelled out a word she has never spoken aloud. A slow-burn, atmospheric episode about faith, silence, and the things we pretend not to notice in the places we thought were safe.
