概要

 Luna recalls a damp November afternoon in Red Bluff, California, where she stopped at a sprawling estate sale on a dead-end road. The house belonged to a man named Harlan Dorn, a reclusive antique dealer who vanished two years prior. Inside, she discovered a steamer trunk locked with a peculiar brass padlock. The man running the sale warned her not to open it, but Luna bought the trunk anyway. Back in her car, she pried it open and found only a sheaf of papers written in a cipher she couldn't crack. That night, she heard whispers from the trunk. The next morning, the papers were gone. But the whispers never stopped. They come from inside her closet now.
