Situation + thinking (conscious or unconscious) = response (effective or ineffective).

We each have the power to make better choices and demonstrate more effective behaviors. It is not easy since we all have lifelong thinking and behavioral patterns that aren’t always the most effective.

But we DO have the power to shift—our thinking and/or our response to a situation. It starts with awareness.

I share this simple framework often, I teach it, and I build workshops around it. I believe it deeply.

And yet . . . I still get stuck in ineffective thinking patterns that drive ineffective behaviors.
