MEASURED is a podcast from Book More Women exploring how power, access, and decision-making operate in the music industry, and mapping the systems that keep the status quo in place. We bring data and human stories together to tell the full story from all sides and discover, together, the best opportunities for real change.

Season 1 is a deep dive into the music festival. From talent buyers to emerging artists, headliners to economics, each episode reveals a different piece of the system, identifying the systemic factors that determine who gets booked, who gets to headline, and who is left off the poster entirely.

Through conversations with organizers and artists navigating the circuit in real time, and statistics that give us the big picture, MEASURED reveals how the festival machine really works today, and how it can be better – for everyone – tomorrow
