概要
As we celebrate and honor Black History Month, we meet Jamie Davis, candidate for Senate in Louisiana. With a simple platform focused on "Affordability, Healthcare and Education", Jamie is bringing the can-do attitude & common sense that has made him a successful family farmer in Tensas Parish to his race for the Senate.
We talk about Jamie's life, career and political involvement, along with rural challenges and the current lack of adequate representation at the Federal level.
Jamie & I talk about the challenges faced by rural communities in providing education and sustaining themselves. We also explore the political party endorsement process and the impact it has on election campaigns.
If you or your organization is involved in activism across our state or region, we want to talk to you!
