Silent Night wasn’t nearly as quiet as we imagine. In Luke 2:8–20, God chose common, hardworking people to be the very first witnesses of the Savior’s birth, revealing that His good news is for everyone. The shepherds searched for Jesus with urgency, found Him just as they were told, and couldn’t stop telling others what they had seen and heard.
