What starts as a fairly standard artifact chase quickly spirals into a clash of faith, desperation, and the ever-present question of whether Angel is truly fighting for redemption… or against it.

Meanwhile, Wolfram & Hart hover like vultures, the cult of Rahmon proves that robes never equal wisdom, and Angel is forced to confront the limits of his mission. You can save people—but you can’t save everyone. And sometimes, trying costs more than you’re ready to pay.

It’s an episode that feels deceptively simple… until it isn’t.
