  • 06 EPI - Finding Christmas Balance: How Working Moms Can Communicate for a Stronger Partnership.
    2025/12/23

My dear friends, if you are currently listening to this while trying to untangle a string of stubborn Christmas lights or hiding in the pantry for sixty seconds of peace—bless you. I see you.

Today, we are talking to the Working Mom who feels like she is carrying the entire "Christmas SEASON" on her shoulders. We’re exploring how to move away from the loneliness of the holiday mental load and back toward a beautiful, united partnership. We discuss Balance, Communication, and how to keep your Faith at the center of the season when the schedule feels anything but silent.

    The O.T.T. Christmas Strategy

To find Balance this week, try applying this simple CEO framework to one holiday chore:

    1. Own It: Assign a specific holiday responsibility to your spouse. Let them own the mental space for it, not just the task.
    2. Train Them: Spend 15 minutes (and only 15!) explaining your "CEO Standard." Show them what "done" looks like for that task.
    3. Trust It: This is the hard part! Walk away. Even if it’s done differently than you would, choose the partnership over the perfection.
    Words of Encouragement

"You don't have to earn Christmas through your labor. It is a gift for you, too. The best days of your family are still ahead of you."

  • EP 05: Why Motherhood Feels Lonely In Marriage - And How To Feel A Team Again
    2025/12/19

My dear friends, if you are listening to this while folding a mountain of laundry, navigating the school run, or perhaps finding a quiet corner in the bathroom for two minutes of peace—bless you. Truly. I see you.

Today, we are speaking directly to the mother who loves her partner with all her heart, but somehow feels like she’s carrying the weight of the world on her own. We’re exploring why "busy-ness" can disconnect even the best of couples and how to find your way back to a partnership that feels like a team again—without blame, without guilt, and with a great deal of hope.

Don’t wait for a crisis to talk. Pick a calm moment this week and try this gentle approach with your spouse:

"I love you. I know we’re both tired, and I don't want to do life against you—I want to do it with you. Can we talk about one small way we can feel more like a team this week?"

    Small shifts to consider:

    • A 15-minute "calendar sync" on Sunday nights.
    • Dividing the bedtime routine so one person "owns" the bath and the other "owns" the stories.
    • Sending one encouraging text during the day to say, "I see how hard you're working."

You don’t need a perfect partner. You just need a present partnership. You aren't failing, my dear friend. You are leading. And you most certainly do not have to do it alone. Things have a way of working out if we just keep trying.

  • EPI 04: 4 Routines To Make Working Mom Life easier
    2025/12/16

Hello, I know you're exhausted. I know your mornings are chaos. I know you're standing in front of the fridge at 6 PM thinking "What am I making for dinner?" You still need to make dinner, help kids with homework, clean up, get kids ready for bed and some how get ready for a meeting first thing in the morning without falling asleep. I know, it’s busy! I’ve lived it.

Today I'm sharing the four simple routines that literally saved my sanity. Not complicated systems that need a manual. Just four basic things that actually work when you're running on an empty tank and still lots to do!

    Here's what we're covering:

The Get Ready for Tomorrow Timer! - Fifteen minutes tonight that make tomorrow morning actually peaceful. Backpacks by the door, lunches made, outfits ready. Game changer.

The M&M Routine - Thirty minutes before everyone wakes up that are just yours. Me and Morning, for reading, journaling, some movement, a moment to breathe. Your kids will notice you're calmer. Promise.

The Meal Planning Power Hour - Plan your dinners once a week, shop once, and never have that 6 PM panic again. I keep it verysimple—we're talking tacos and pasta here, and other easy and quick family meals.

The Sunday Planning Session - Half an hour with your family to look at the week ahead. Everyone knows what's coming. No more surprises.

Listen, will this be easy at first? Honestly, no. Will you forget sometimes? Of course. But here's the thing—you don't need to be perfect. You just need better than the chaos you're living in right now.

Pick one. Just one. Or all of it! Try it this week. I promise something will shift.

You've got this, friend. You really do.
