grew up in Minnesota, where I learned the value of hard work, the importance of socially responsible community service, and the meaning of the word 'winter.'
The events of 9/11 changed my life forever, as I left the University of Wisconsin and joined the Army, where I had the distinct honor to serve alongside some of the finest men I've ever known.
Following my time in uniform, I entered the private sector, spending time in operations, finance, consulting, business development, and executive leadership, working in industries as diverse as supply chain, aviation, healthcare, mining, hospitality, government, nonprofit, retail, technology, and utilities, where I consistently delivered growth-oriented, culturally-rooted, and process-driven outcomes for employees, stakeholders, and clients alike.
After spending over a decade in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I now reside outside Kansas City with my wonderful wife and two amazing children, where I lead a custom woodworking business and enjoy golfing, watching sports, barbecuing, reading about history, and supporting my kids as they learn and grow in this incredible world of ours.
